Myke Clarkson is a wildlife television producer (National Geographic, Discovery Channel), conservationist (Co-founder of HCI Herpetological Conservation International), occasional author and presenter. In 2018 he opened his own production studio Pelamis Productions, named after the no longer used genus name for his favorite species Pelamis platurus (now Hydrophis). In addition to his conservation efforts with HCI he and his wife also own reserve rainforest property in Costa Rica.
