Myna Wallin is a writer and editor living in Toronto, Ontario. She has her Master's Degree in English Literature from the University of Toronto. Her first poetry collection, A Thousand Profane Pieces, was published by Tightrope Books in 2006. Her poetry and prose have appeared in numerous literary journals and anthologies, including the Algonquin Square Table Anthology, Contemporary Verse 2, Existere, Eye Weekly, Kiss Machine, In the Dark: Stories from the Supernatural, the Literary Review of Canada, Matrix, Misunderstandings Magazine, Nōd, Taddle Creek, and Rampike.

Myna received an Honourable Mention in 2009 CV2 2-Day Poetry Contest amd another Honourable Mention in the 2010 Winston Collins/ Descant Prize for Best Canadian Poem. Myna hosted "In Other Words" on CKLN 88.1 FM from 2004-2010, interviewing writers from across Canada. She was on the Art Bar Poetry Reading Series board from 2007-2010. As an editor, Myna has co-edited the anthology I.V. Lounge Nights with Alex Boyd, and edited Sandra Kasturi's The Animal Bridegroom and Phoebe Tsang's Contents of a Mermaid's Purse. Myna recently launched her first novel, Confessions of a Reluctant Cougar with Tightrope Books, June, 2010, at the Proof Vodka Bar in Toronto.
