[edit]I'm just a guy, as cliché as that may sound. Interestingly, I was injured at the age of 17. You're probably thinking, what happened? Well, I was a passenger involved in a car accident. The crash happened in an instant, but I can remember the incident vividly. The driver lost control, and that's when the car began to spin violently colliding with two trees. The first tree just clipped the front right side of the car, which sent the car spinning in the opposite direction. This reversal of rotation, broke the brackets that held my seat in place, and I was hurled into the back seat. The problem was that my head hit the rear seat with so much force that I actually shattered my C7 vertebrae. Furthermore, a fragment of the vertebrae was pinching my spinal cord. Thus paralyzing me from chest down. I spent many years recovering and rehabbing, but tough times made me the persistent, resilient man I am today.
