The first holy saint of Indian Orthodox church is the St.Gregorious. He was born on AD 1848 june 15,Mulanthuruthy, Ernakulam, India. He led his life as a servant of Jesus and he done a lot of wonders. By his prayer to lord Jesus, he healed many of them from their disease. He founded Vettickattu Deira and Parumala Deira. He loved silent life with his meditation of GOD.
While it is so difficult he travelled to Jerushelem to satisfy himself by seeing the truth of Jesus's life. He beileved that prayer to Jesus can make everything possible. He said : Prayer is the encouragement in the childhood, is the dependent in the youth and is the peace of oldage. His life is way for good living.He had been no more on 2,November,1902 at Parumala.Now he resting in Parumala church in India.His prayer is giving blessings to many people.
