Analysis of differences between Chinese and foreign parents Due to historical and political reasons, western and Chinese parents have many differences in children’s education. Generally speaking, western education is more open and more close to life. But Chinese education is a little conservative and traditional, not keep pace with the times.

 In the international perspective, there are many differences between Chinese parents and foreign parents in educating their children. Influenced by feudal tradition, Chinese parents tend to protect children to an unbelievable degree. For  example , if a Chinese child goes home crying ,his or her parents will go to teacher or principal for a reason why his or her child was bullied. Chinese parents aren’t used to finding their children’s own  reason . That’s a bad phenomenon, which could contribute to children’s bad habits and escaping responsibilities. In addition, Chinese parents always prepare everything for children, such as money, food and clothes, but ignore their mental world.
 In foreign countries, parents tend to foster a child’s independent personality. They just guide them how to do and what to do, but they never help them do everything well. When a child  is very young ,they put them into a  kindergarden.  That’s a very important and meaning thing, which can contribute children’s ability to communicate with others and go well with others. Parents love their children in a different way instead of protecting them too much.
 A very obvious problem also lies in Chinese parents and foreign parents. In Chinese parents’ heart ,learning achievement is always the first position. Whenever children are in primary school `middle school or senior high school, parents always pay attention more to children’s study than others. But in foreign parents’ heart, they focus on health` self-care ability and communicative ability. Learning is not always the most important.
 What are said above are the main differences.
