Nabila (born Nabila Jaffar) is a Pakistani stylist, image-maker and salon owner who also retails products and tools related to hair and makeup. She graduated from Vidal Sassoon in London in 1986 and her career spans 32 years. She is credited for having set up a range of salons, styled media projects, won awards[1] and acted as an image consultant to brands like L’Oreal and Sunsilk.[2]

Career[edit]

Nabila currently owns a salon in Lahore as well as a salon triad in Karachi that caters to hair, makeup and personal grooming for both men[3] and women: Nabila’s, N-Pro and N-Gents. She has helmed a number of hair and makeup shows[4] [5]and is a regular participant in media-related projects in her country.[6]

Retail[edit]

In 2015, Nabila stepped into retail with an all-purpose No Makeup palette, aimed towards providing an all-in-one solution to achieving natural-looking skin.[7] [8]A tailored version of the palette has just launched internationally. The palette has now been re-named ‘Zero Makeup’.

Philanthropy[edit]

Nabila is a proponent of economic growth in her country encouraging GSM sustainability within businesses where a triple-line framework is followed.[9]
