NANCY ROOT. My nick name is: The Redheaded Indian (who makes Native American Jewelry. I am a SAG Actress from the Silver Screen, best known for Bonanza I suppose. And I am a Native American Indian Artist and Silversmith. I was in many films like: College Confidential (1960), The Private Lives of Adam and Eve (1960). And in these other movies, in no particular order: The Lone Ranger (1956), The Rat Race (1960), But Not For Me (1959), Girls Town (1959), The Ladies Man (1961), and Playhouse 90 (1956), and The D.A.'s Man (1959). And I was in the Bonanza Television Series, which ran from 1959 to 1973, and I feel I am best known for this Television Series, where I played the part of Olinska. But I also feel I was remembered from two films: The Private Lives of Adam and Eve (1960), which was also known as Saints and Sinners (1960), as well as College Confidential (1960), because they used my photographs in many of their Publicity of these movies.

Well, I wanted to write about myself, because I found mistakes on the internet about me that were not true. For one, they get my birth Day and Year wrong, my correct birthday is the 4th of September. Also I do not have a son named Rory, which is why I joined this Wikipedia to edit that, and get the facts straight. I have a publicist now who is helping me with many corrections and my publicity, and her name is Sonia De Lorraine, who is helping me when I told her how frustrated I was and wondered if she could help me fix these mistakes. For another one, when I looked myself up on the internet and saw these mistakes, the one that bothered me the most was someone else's photo trying to appear as me, and she looks nothing like me. And I know that as time goes by we change a bit here and there, but I honestly think that I did not change that much, as you can see by my photographs I put here. Thank you Wikipedia for allowing me to join your great site and fix these much needed corrections. I am from back in the day and still here, so please do not let others pose to be me, or change my life and information, thank you again.
