DPS Maruti Kunj is a premier day school offering an enviable state-of-the-art infrastructure & a truly world class campus spread over 13 acres, nestled in the pristine surroundings of the Aravali Hills. DPS Maruti Kunj was born when Maruti Udyog Limited the automobile giant joined hands with the DPS Society, an organization synonymous with quality education and overall excellence,to create an institution which would open its portal to every student who would have the will and vigor to achieve academic honors. The school thus is a product of the union of two extraordinary super achievers in their respective fields.Today the school has a strength of 3300 students, more than 150 teachers, around 49 other staff members.
History Delhi Public Schools, with the motto "Service Before Self", have been serving the Society in the field of education for the last 59 years. School followed school in rapid succession, and today the Society has grown into a family of more than 150 schools. The growing number of schools under this organization signifies how the need to provide meaningful education, to a large number of children, desirous of growing into educated & liberated human beings, has been fulfilled. Each school has developed into a pace - setting autonomous institution, with a well-designed programme of instruction, based on the pursuit and promotion of excellence. While the former, known as the Core schools, have been set up by the Society in New Delhi and its neighboring states, after having acquired the land and designing the construction, the Satellite or the associated schools are those which have been established across the country in collaboration with certain Public Sector Undertakings. DPS Maruti Kunj was established in collaboration with DPS Society and Maruti Udyog Ltd. (now Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.) on 24th July
