I am a biomedical researcher with specialization in the field of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases. My principal area of research interest is infectious diseases caused by bacteria and antimicrobial resistance in clinical practice. Currently I am a Doctoral student at the Department of Cell and Molecular Biology, Molecular Biology unit, Biomedical Center, Uppsala, Sweden. For my doctoral research I am working on the ribosomal mechanisms of protein synthesis and antimicrobial agents targeting bacterial ribosomes.
