Brief background

This government owned primary school is situated in Ondangwa and it is one of the first government primary school in Ondangwa. Formed and founded in 1993 it started as a primary school only, with plus/minus 300 school kids only. It is fully owned by the Namibian government with Mrs.ANKONGA Nicoline Enslin being its first principal.

It’s Aims:

• Shaping the minds and sharping the future
• Educating through technology
• Finding better ways for teaching and learning

Its development

This government owend primary school has immediately caught the attention of almost all the parents and guidance in its location especially the ones with small kids that where getting ready pre-grade and primary school. Parents claim that they cannot think of a better foundation for their kids, which is not Shinime, as children at this primary school could speak fluent English from such a small age. And within few years it has manage to grow and prosper and as we speak it has until grade 7 with children attending both morning and afternoon classes.

Its Achievements

Today Shinime Shiivula primary school is over 14 years old and it stands among the best primary schools not only at the northern part of the country but in the entire country, as it lies platforms for its kids and its products are dominating tertiary institutions in Namibia such as Polytechnic and Unam and are said to be performing above average due to its outstanding organized foundations educating techniques.
