Furina is a character from the 2020 video game Genshin Impact. First added to the game in 2023, she serves as the games Hydro Archon as well as a playable character. Her design incorporates numerous inspirations from French culture as well as classic musicals. As the game's story progresses, it is revealed that Furina was not a true Archon, instead being the leftover humanity of the true Hydro Archon, Focalors. It's also revealed that Furina was forced to serve as an Archon for 500 years against her will, destroying her mental state.
