Neuroschaftler: An individual who studies intricacies of nervous system utilizing various faculties of science and technology, varying from basics of biology to complexities of computer science and engineering. This word is derived by combining a greek prefix (Neuro- sinew, tendon or nerve) and a german suffix (schaft[1]- ship). Individuals involved in the study of Neural engineering, Neurotechnology, Neuro cybernetics, Neuroprosthetics, Computational neuroscience and Neuroinformatics can also be called as Neuroschaftlers. Therefore it is a more specialized term instead of a generic term 'Neuroscientist' or 'Neurobiologist'.
