Tooth Decades is a Filipino Metalcore band from Zamboanga City, founded in May 22, 2018 with the current line up, Marcjohn Calunod,

Terence Mislang, Jancarl Escobar, Arche Hernandez, and Christian Jumawan.

History

The band started as an alternative rock/ pop punk originally formed by Marcjohn Calunod and named as "The Decades" band during 2018 to 2019, back in late 2018 the band broke up for some reasons and the bassist Christian Jumawan left before the disbandment, The group reunite in April 2019, change the name as "Tooth Decades" to make it sounds unique, and performed in some battle of the bands/ gigs and A vocalist from the band Buddidharma Mai Santos wrote a chavacano song called Mi Palabra(My Words) for them to arrange, Yvan Carcedo left the band after a month is the reason why Christian Jumawan cameback as a drummer instead of being a bassist. Jan Carl Refonte that Marcjohn Calunod met on the internet join the band as the Vocalist screamer and their schoolmate Arche Hernandez the one who sings clean vocals, during that time Marcjohn Calunod as the band leader and writer of the band also started to write their first original song Your Name and the demo of this song was recorded in mid 2019 but Nika Santos became in active and left Tooth Decades to join the other band, Shanie Villasis join as a sessionist in the meantime for their gigs before in 2020 Marcjohn Calunod and Terence Mislang made the decision to change the band's genre to Metalcore, Tooth Decades is currently working for their debut album this 2022.

The band's influences are mostly Metalcore and Emo bands like Asking Alexandria, Alesana, Bullet for My Valentine, Attack Attack! (American band) and Silverstein (band).
