Social Work: Founder President Vasudhaiva Kutumbabam Welfare Society (whole world in one family) Regd. since 1988. Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam has provided facilities for good education to more than five thousand under privileged children. This society also runs Bal Seva Kendaras, a middle school institution for the street children. . Founder Trustee and Chairperson B.R.V. Ghai Dharmarth Trust. The trust also manages an Institute of Natural Hygiene at Ambphala, Jammu since 1969.

Vice Chairperson (upto1993) and Chairperson (since 1993) of Gandhi Seva Sadan Gandhi Bhawan, Jammu. Gandhi Seva Sadan has 37 branches and has a charter of generating direct and indirect employment for thousands of villagers through Khadi and rural industries in Jammu and Kashmir.

Patron, Association for Social Health in India J & K Branch running short-stay homes for destitute women and children and enabling them to be independent economically.
