MEMBERS OF THE SINDHI PANCHAYAT

ARJUN R VACHHANI is the head President of the Sindhi Panchayat placed in Elisbridge , Ahmedabad. The president is followed by the Vice presidents Sadhuram G Chanchlani and Smt. Sati Sabnani. They are the heads at managing all the events, functions and other programs organised by the Sindhi Panchayat. Also they take care of the matrimonial functions of the Sindhi Samaj. They also have a various departments like education groups, matrimonial groups, event groups etc.

DATE OF ESTABLISHMENT

In the year 1966, on the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti , some like minded businessmen and people decided to celebrate this occasion and promote contact and brotherhood within the Sindhi Samaj and also to make make everyone aware about the Sindhi language and Sindhi community. The idea was finally adopted on the date 1st July, 1967 where a general meeting was held and after many recommendations and experiences the constitution was revised by the full consent of the general meeting held on the date 2nd of December, 1995. The panchayat was registered as a public trust vide No. F – 546 – Ahmedabad on 7th of March, and also registered as society vide No. GUJ/462/Ahmedabad on the day.
