BadmintonPlanet is a non-profit web site that aims at promoting and encouraging fan participation for the sport of badminton. It offers the latest badminton news, photos, rankings and video highlights for badminton.

Vincent Liew founded BadmintonPlanet in 2002 at a small storage space in his landlord’s basement in San Jose, California. The website has since become a highly cited and popular website for the sport of badminton.
Lee Chong Wei's doping incident[edit]
BadmintonPlanet mobilized its followers to provide overwhelming support during former World No. 1 player Lee Chong Wei's doping investigation.
It was able to gather 6,692 signatures in ipetitions.com to support the Malaysian badminton legend.
BadmintonPlanet's YouTube video was retweeted by Lee Chong Wei [1]and became the top tweet on his official Twitter account as he went to Amsterdam to attend the anti-doping trial. [2]
