Kris Gustofson born in Las Vegas Nevada, A self taught drummer who was influenced by his father (Gus Gustofson) Has played/recorded with numerous bands over the years. Most notably TRAUMA and St Elmos fire.

Career

Joined the band "Trauma". The Band recorded "Scratch and Scream" . performing select tour dates in the US opening for Major bands. Eventually re located to the Los Angeles area and was introduced to producer Dito Godwin. St Elmo's Fire signed with Dream/CBS records. "St Elmos Fire" went on to record 3 more records and extensively toured Europe and the US throughout the later 80s and 90s. Working with London/England vocalist Jon Dunmore who at the time was working with Guitarist Brad Gillis (Night Ranger, Ozzy) , And recorded 2 Records. " Hypnotica" and " Baptized by Fire".This band also went on to work with the actor Richard Grieco and released " Waiting For The Sky To Fall".Joined the band MRO and recorded their debut record with producer Dito Godwin, And engineer Mark Needham. Played drums with Guitarist Frank Hannon (Tesla) in a new project " Moon Dog Mane" the band went on to record "Turn It Up" peaking at # 38 in the Billboard charts. Formed "Mechanizm" with Guitarist Kurt Fry (Heist, Christine Aguillera) and Vocalist Dennis Kolarik and recorded " Meat For The Machine" with producer Bill Cutler (Spike 1000) Mechanizm performed opening dates with Ronnie James Dio and headlined some shows on the west coast. Mechanizm went on to record "Your Creation" and " Turn away from The Sun". Currently working with TRAUMA, Jeff Jones.
