Chad "OMGchad" Johnson was born April 14, 1989. He is best known as a host and producer at TWiT.tv. Chad has hosted OMGcraft, RedditUP, and a product reviewer for Before You Buy and, as of October 28th, 2014, continues as host of The Giz Wiz and reviewer on Before You Buy. Until leaving TWiT, on October 28th 2014, Chad had produced This Week in Tech, MacBreak Weekly, and This Week in Google.

On Friday, March 18th, 2011, less than a week after Chad assisted with the live TWiT.tv programming at Momo's in Austin for SXSW, Brian Brushwood confirmed via Twitter that Chad would be leaving his side and beginning a new chapter in his life working for TWiT.tv. Chad will be an Associate Producer in charge of live events as of June 1, 2011. He was promoted to Producer when Eileen Rivera left TWiT in May, 2012.

Chad hosts his own OMGcraft show and TheGizWiz and co-hosted RedditUP, This Week in YouTube, iPad Today, Know How, and NSFW Show. He produced This Week in TECH, This Week in Google, and MacBreak Weekly, Triangulation as well as Game On. He technically directed (aka 'TD') This Week in TECH, This Week in Google, MacBreak Weekly, and Triangulation and has directed Tech News Today, Game On, iPad Today, All About Android, The Social Hour, and This Week in Computer Hardware.

On Oct. 28th, 2014, Chad announced that he lost his full time Producing job at TWiT.[1] He will continue to host The Giz Wiz and continue as a product reviewer on Before You Buy.

On May 5, 2013 Chad started posting videos to his personal YouTube channel again. His channel includes Vlogs, playthroughs of Minecraft, Modified Minecraft, Garry's Mod, and other indie games.

OMGChad was diagnosed with a form of dyslexia, as he stated in one of his recent (Ocotber 30th, 2014) twitch.tv livestreams, explaining in some detail special schooling needed to combat the dyslexia.
