Use this list to hear the source recordings and examples (mostly from YouTube) of charts we play in the Indian Hill Big Band book. Here, “source recordings” usually means recordings by the original artist (Ellington, Basie, and so forth) that match closest to the arrangement we have in our book. In a pinch, we’ll use samples provided by the publisher, but only if we can’t find a more famous recorded example. Sometimes, it will be just a small-group recording of the tune (usually for lesser-known pieces where we couldn’t find a big band example). Also note that not all titles in our book are included here; we’ll add them as we find them. If you find a dead link, email Ted.
