The Mighty Guardians is an upcoming comic series written by Oheneba K.K. Amponsah. The series is based on the lives and adventures of six superheros. The superheroes are;
• ScienceBoy: He is the leader of the Mighty Guardians. His real name is Kennedy Walter Davidson. He's a sophomore at Old Kent High School. He's highly intelligent and possess the ability to sense danger and see through invisibility with his cool shades. He's from Green Valley City. His powers include; high intelligence, flying, black heat vision, combat, ability to sense danger and see through invisibilty.
• The Slayer: His real name is Allen Thomas. He was born to a human father from The City of Varakas and an alien mother from Jupiter. He's known as Yaspim in Jupiter. His parents were killed when he was an infant. He inherited his mother's powers. He was raised by the Evil Dr. Stone after his parents died. He's very strong and probably the strongest of the six superheroes. His powers include; Super Strength, combat, a magical sword hand, windbreath and flying.
• Thunderess: Her real name is Lisa Yulin. She was "abandoned" by her parents when she was a baby (It was only done to protect her). She was released in the Sizzle Forest in her hometown of Korsh Mountain. She was found by the Evil Dr. Stone after she had been struck by lightining shortly after being released. Her powers include; Electrocution and flying.
• Dog Man: His real name is Glen Norman. He is a retired professional wrestler who gained much fame in his career years. He's very wealthy, making his fortune from a successful wrestling career and also inheriting half of his parent's wealth. He's from the city of Varakas. His powers include; Transformation into any animal from the dog family.
• Flames: Her real name is Dawn Cole. She was born to a single mother after her father abandoned his family. Her mom died shortly after she was born. She was adopted and raised by lord Hades the ruler of the underworld, who renamed her Gaki. She grew up in the underworld but ran away a few days before her thirteenth birthday. Upon returning to the Earth, she planned on returning to her birthplace (Lewis Island). She boarded a ship which capsided some days later. Everyone in the shipped drowned but fortunately for her, she was saved by thr Evil Dr. Stone who found her unconscious and floating on a broken door. Her powers include; Flying, emitting fireballs and fireblast.
• The Caspian Kid: His real name is Kaspian Davidson. He was found unconscious by ScienceBoy near the Caspian Sea in the region of Dylan Island. ScienceBoy nursed him back to health. He's very loyal to ScienceBoy and showed much gratitude to him by adopting his last name. He's the youngest member of the mighty defenders. He has amnesia and has no clue of his past. He focuses on his present life. He has some comic relief traits such as his constant hitting on girls and his immaturity. His powers include; Counter attack and invisibility.
The first two books concentrate on the life of ScienceBoy. The Slayer first appears in book three (SciencBoy, Jailbreak). Thunderess, Dog Man and Flames first appear in book four (ScienceBoy and The Slayer's Adventure, Drac on the Loose). The Caspian Kid first appears in book five (Science and The Mighty Guardians, Kid in the Caspian).
Some of the villains in the series include; Dr. Technology, Levana the witch, Rosanna the temptress, the Evil Dr. Stone, Akemi the ninja, Stan the Brutish Knight, Tyrone the gangster, Raku the Human Dragon and Rufus the self-proclaimed "Human god".
