BABA KAIKAI

Christine Sunday Akeredolu, Kaikai is the first of the two children of the late Mr. Moses Akeredolu of Arigidi Akoko, his other siblings are Rachael and a step sister Dayo, the family belong to the compound family of Akeredolu of Arigidi Akoko in Ondo state. Kaikai lost his father at infant, occasioning his young mother to be inherited by the father's younger brother, with whom the Mum later had Dayo, who is presently late, but survived by husband and children. because of the death of his father, Kaikai could not attend school, he put up with the late King Asumo of Arigidi, before he took up apprentice as a bicycle repairer, but later decide to be a car mechanic, for this reason, He left Arigidi Akoko to learn the craft at Owo. it was during this training that his fellow apprentice nick named him Kaikai, and he could have escape what he term then as a derogatory name, but for his fierce fight to reject the name. after his apprenticeship, he could only practice his profession for a short time as he had to come home to take care of his ailing mother. he then took up some menial jobs, before getting a job, at Adura Bros saw mill company, where he was before he left for a another job at Arigidi/Iye/Erusu cooperative company, after the he switched to Okota high school from where he is now retired. He is married to Deborah Akeredolu, from the Oluwasola family, a family tree connected to the Arigidi Akoko royalty, they are blessed, with children and grand children among which are; Olu, Olubu, Ojo, Erigbo, Odun, Iyabo, Seun, Ayomide, Micheal, Boluwarin, Kemi, Ejije, Fide, and Sunday Kaikai is the head of the emerging Kaikai dynasty. He is a great story teller, and a lover of music, in his youthful days he was a member of a musical band, and has many tapes of the best artist in Nigeria. he lives at Arigidi Akoko, with his wife presently.
