About Me

[edit]

Born in Middlesex but raised in Hertfordshire, I am an author and podcaster as well as a keen crafter and baker.

I earned my BA (Hons) in Humanities, majoring in English Literature from the University of Leicester in 1995. From there, I began a career in Publishing before moving into Public Relations.

Taking up a call to ministry in 1999, I moved to Atlanta where I earned my Master of Divinity in 2002. I served in churches in North Carolina and Virginia before moving back to the United Kingdom in 2008.

I am a published author of "Writing for Wellness: Surviving Lockdown One Word at a Time," and presenter of the "Letters in Lockdown" and "Emergence" podcasts. I am currently working on my first novel, Finding Freodholm, a story about one girl's journey through trauma and addiction to recovery.

[edit]

Over the years, I have benefitted enormously from the Wikipedia Project. Being an active contributor to WikiTree, and a keen genealogist, I have a good understanding of Wiki Markup and what it means to work in a collaborative environment. I am also passionate about good sourcing and want to help improve the project in any way I can.
