Omid Mozaffari (Persian: امید مظفری; born September 21, 1979) is an Iranian Herpetologist, founder and managing director of Aria Herpetological Institute, the first Iranian Herpetological NGO, who describe new species and new distribution records of Reptiles and Amphibians from Iran. He is senior author of "Atlas of Reptiles of Iran", the first bilingual (English/Farsi) book in this category. He also is a natural photographer and has a great collection of photos of Amphibians and Reptiles of Iran.
