History of MSS Amodu Asungbolu This history can be traced back to earlier development of the school “government unity technical college” that located in AModu Asungbolu in the 1979. According to the history, the MSS was organized in the same year and on the same days that the governments lunch the school. Iman Abdul Ganiyu was in SS1 then when was elected as the imam of the school in that same years. He was very brilliant in both western and Islamic education because he has schooling before some. Iman Abdul Ganiyu happened to be the best out of the people in the school then. He is very jovial, respectful, obedient, trustful and reliable person, due to all this attitudes made the Baale of the village “Amodu Asungbolu” chief …………… elected him as the Imam of the school 1975. He led the prayer from 1975 to 1980 before he passed out his o’level. In 1980, after the graduation of Imam Abdul Ganiy, the community committee sat together in the school premises to hold a meeting to select new Imam and others prefects like Amir, Amirat,PRESIDENT, Treasurer, Secetory and co. at the end of the meeting, they chose ABDUL RASHEED BALOGUN as the Imam of the school in the year 1980 and he happened to be the second Imam of the G.T.U.C Amodu Asungbolu, ifelodun LGA kwara state of Nigeria. This Imam really tried his effort to make sure that there must be certain place of worship Allah without using any of the class room,he raised the issue among the elders of the community then and thank God that they accepted it and a piece of land was given to the MSS meeting in 1981. He bought enough kettles, praying mats, rug etc. In addition, Imam Abdul Rasheed also make sure that foundation of the school mosque was laid before he graduted from the school in 1983. At time went by, every things change totally in the sense that committee were no longer in charge of electing prefects again, it is the students that select prefects among themselves. Reason is that, students noticed that people selecting prefects are doing partial and also in most of cases, they don’t sactisfy with the elected prefect, this made them to choose the prefect of their choice since 1995 during tenure of Imam …………. till date. Many Imams has passed out from the school from 1995 till day before the present Imam. Imam Abdul Fatai Salimon aka Alfa Sebin became the Imam of the school in 2013 to 2014, he is blessed with money, power, knowledge, talent and also, he has a bike which make our transportation easy during the preparation of this project. This Imam really tried, he supported and contributes a lot to the development of the M.S.S morally, financially and academically. If I could remember a day we were planning to organize this very beautiful day for this society, he was the one using his bike to carry us from one place to another in the process of distributing invitations and envelope.

Appreciate by the president of the MSS meeting of Amodu Asungbolu government unity technical college. Am Sharafadeen Kolawole by name, the president of MSS meeting of Amodu Asungbolu government unity technical college 2013/2014 section here-by give glory to God almighty Allah and every-one that support us financially, morally and academically for the success of this very beautiful MSS day. May we witness many of it in peace and not in pieces, joy and not in sadness and in wealth and not in poverty. Amen And also, I use this opportunity to pray for the king of Amodu Asungbolu a long life and wealth, peace and good health. And I also pray that God almighty will shower his mercy and blessing on everyone that are here to assist us.
