Whidbey Island Orchestras is comprised of Whidbey Island Community Orchestra and a youth orchestra (currently defunct). The community orchestra has a wide variety of ages and abilities. The important aspect of the orchestra is the fact that all are welcome no matter how well they play. The concerts include orchestral pieces as well as chamber music played by the musicians of the orchestra. The Music Director and Conductor is Tigran Arakelyan appointed fall of 2013.
