One of the most memorable milestones in Orlin Dochev’s career was the date 1st of Dec 1998, when, during a birthday celebration of the 4th year of Radio Forte, he and his friend Stancho Stanchev (ex “DVX”) spontaneously decided to form a duet, named “Stanioli”. “Stanioli” later evolved into a band, which kept the name. Soon after this event the duet recorded their first single “Lolita’s dance” (music & lyrics Orlin Dochev,  harmonization Momchil Kolev), which carried the typical-to-be for the duet “guitar-puls” sound and later became their sound signature. The single became their first commercial success and paved their way to wide popularity and recognition. That’s exactly the song with which they topped the music charts in 1999, as “BG Top 10”, “Radio Vitosha’s Top”, “FM+ Top”, “BNT Tops: “MeloTvMania” & “Melo-asansior”, etc. In the magazine “New Rhythm”, the musical critic Ivaylo Kitsov named Stanioli “The new eggheads of the Bulgarian Pop-music”.
