History[edit]

Galakticos, which was founded in 2016 with inspiration from the galaxy, determined its motto as "May the force be with you"[2] and attracted great attention by Turkish employees working at NASA[3] in the first period of its establishment, entered the esports ecosystem together with the League of Legends team in the 2017 season.

After founding the Galakticos Academy in 2018[4], the team started working with the hope of discovering young talents from the Turkish esports ecosystem and adding them to their team. Established specifically for LoL, this academy team trained 5 people in 2019, 8 people in 2021, and 19 people in 22.

In this process, Galakticos also provided the opportunity for young people to move to other teams. In 2019, the first transfer took place to Bursa Esports Academy. In 2021, transitions were made to Beşiktaş Esports Academy, 5 Ronin Academy and Supermassive Academy. In 2022, it allowed not only transitions to other academy teams, but also transitions to major teams such as 5 Ronin and Dysre.[4]

The years 2020 and 2021 were the years when the team formed the PUBG, PUBG Mobile and VALORANT teams. Although the PUBG team operated in 2021 - 2022, the team was sold to BBL and FUT Esports in February 2022.

The VALORANT team has been active since the first day it was founded.

The team also has PUBG Mobile and FIFA rosters
