Fr. Paul Gabor, S.J.
[edit]Born in 1969 in Košice (Slovakia). Before entering the Society of Jesus in 1995, he studied particle physics in Prague (Charles University). After two years of noviciate in Kolín, he studied philosophy in Cracow (Jesuit School of Philosophy). In 1999/2000, he taught in Olomouc (Fachhochschule "Caritas"). He completed the basic training in theology in Paris in 2000-2003 (Jesuit School of Philosophy and Theology). After his ordination to the priesthood, two years of pastoral work and of postgraduate study of theology in Olomouc (Palacky University), he went back to Paris in order to prepare a PhD in astrophysics (IAS Orsay), in order to work at the Vatican Observatory.
