Monisha Unni

One of the most talented actress Malayala Cinema.

Accidental events are the speciality of Monisha's life.

She won national award (named as Urvasi Award) for best actress which is the biggest award for actresses in India, in her first film at the age of 14, which is happening very rarely.

She died at the age of 21 in a Car accident which is also an unexpectd thing. She died in the day of 'Swargvathil Ekadeshi'. It is believed that those who are dying on that day will get heaven.

She started to learn classical dance from childhood days. Her first teacher is her mother Sreedevi who is also a dancer and actress. Kalamandalam Chandrika and Adayar Lakshmanan were the other teachers.

1. Nakhakshathangal - She won the national award in this film which is the team work of genius personalities - M.T. Vasudevan Nair and Hariharan on 1987. She gave life to the character 'Gauri' in that film.
