I chose to use the stub "1921" St. Louis Cardinals Season" and I chose this because I am a Cubs fan, and I thought it would be interesting to learn more about the competition.

To find that this was a stub, I went to the talk section of the article and found the yellow box that labeled the article as "Stub-Class".

3. What are some missing or under-developed parts of this stub? A good way to determine this is to compare your stub to a more developed article on the same topic and category. So for example, if you chose a stub article on a horror novel, look for another Wikipedia article on another horror novel that is more fully developed. What is missing on your stub page in comparison? You should devote 4-5 sentences to answering this question.

This article has a lot of interesting facts about the 1921 season for the St. Louis Cardinals. The only big issue that is missing in this article is that there is nothing but graphs. Some interesting things that could be added to this page could maybe be a description of some of the bigger plays of the season and not just the numbers. I also think it would be interesting if a new and returning roster was added to this page.

There are no hyperlinked references in the reference section, but there are some in the section external links that do work and have the same information.

5. And, when you compare this stub to a well-developed article of the same category type, what sections of the overall article are present, and what is missing?

In a more developed article, the numbers are both all there in both articles. The new additions are more than numbers. In the newer article, they added awards, rookie of the year, winning streak, gold gloves, and manager of the year section which added more meat to the article.

The stub I have chosen is the South Dakota Central railway. South Dakota Central Railway

I found nothing on the research guides for the railway, but some keywords were used on the academic search complete that came up with sources for this article.

When looking over the article, it is missing a lot of the history of the tracks, and also could use some visuals of the railway to help make the page more viewer-friendly.

Lastly, any of the articles I found on the database were not connected to the Railway and were only about other railways in the state like the BNSF railway.

The way that there were no sources for this information on the database thoroughly frustrated me, so I decided to find sources for the first stub I did, the "1921 St Louis Cardinals Season" I did at the top of my sandbox.

After searching on Lovejoy Guides and ASC, I found nothing. I then proceeded to use Google Scholar and found a book about the St Louis Cardinals and how they took flight in their 1921 Season. Here is that URL:

The article title made it a bit difficult to find peer-reviewed sources, but after reading the article I saw it was a Navajo archeological site, and when adding the word Navajo to my search on google scholar, I found a source. [3]

- The Christmas Tree Ruins most likely got their name from the shape of the ruins themselves or a nearby geological formation. This can be assumed by the fact that the Navajo people were not Christian and did not grow Christmas trees. While it is nearly impossible to find the true source of the name via the internet, this is the best theory on where the ruins strange name derives from.
