Victor U. Padilla (born May 17, 1983) is the currently serving in the United States Army. He was sworn into the Army in Oklahoma City, OK on 20 June 2006. Sergeant Padilla has held a variety of positions throughout his career ranging from Biological Detection Specialist to Battery Operations NCO. He is currently serving in Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freadom with HSB, 1-17 FAR.

Early life

Padilla is native to Leon, GTO Mexico, and migrated to the United States at the age of Ten to a small town in South Western Oklahoma. He attended Hobar High School from 1998-2001. He worked for his Father for two years and the was married to Cassandra Padilla (Collins). He then moved to Weatherford, OK where his courier as a leader begun. He was hired as a waiter at Alfredos Mexican Caffe. After 3 months of being a waiter he was promoted to Asistant Manager, he held that postition for a few months than became a Co Manager with Al Mendez. He than moved on to be a Pharmacy Technitian for a home town Pharmacy called Allen Pharmacy. But after a year working there and with no room to advance he than enlisted with the Army.

Military career

He was sworn into the Army in Oklahoma City, OK on 20 June 2006. He then atended Basic Training, Advanced Individual Training, and Aditional Skill Adentifier School at Fort Leanordwood, MS for Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Specialis with a Biological Detections Adentifier. After complition of his Military Schools he was sent to Fort Polk, LA. He then deployed with the 7th Chemical Company out of Fort Polk for a year to Support Operation Iraqi Fredom as a Gunner. He Reenlisted for Five more years and was sent to Fort Sill, OK where sortly after arriving was Promoted to Sergeant. He Worked in many postitions, Battery Training/Orderly Room NCO, Battery CBRN NCO, Schools NCO, Sefety NCO, and Field Sanitation NCO. He helped combine two Batteries Orderly Rooms to deploy to Sopport Operation Enduring Freedom and NATO Training. He is Currently In Afghanistan working as Battery Operations NCO and Unit Prevention Leader.
