Background: journalism
Style background: AP style.
Strengths: reporting, copyediting, neutral voice, attribution
Weaknesses:
1. Wiki markup. Please let me know if there's an easier way to do it than the code I cobbled together.
2. Wikipedia style. Too many styles. I prefer AP over academic styles.
3. Spelling! Born and bred on spellcheck.
Likes: Writing in complete sentences on discussion pages, and not making people go to WP:THIS or WP:THAT to get the gist.
Dislikes: arbitrary capitalization
Interests: International affairs, international media and journalism, other random and interesting topics.
Articles I've created
[edit]International media reaction to Barack Obama's 2008 election
Articles I've significantly altered
[edit]Bijbehara Massacre This article was listed at CAT:COPY as needing help. I had no prior knowledge of the incident. It still needs sourcing help and more copyediting. Thanks for the Barnstar Diannaa!
