The Palangka Raya Football SMP Cup 2022 was the second edition of Palangka Raya Football SMP Cup. It was entirely hosted by the Governor of Central Kalimantan. The planned 2020 and 2021 Palangka Raya Football SMP Cup were cancelled due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Player born or after 1 January 2007 and on or before 31 December 2009 (to be precise only grade VIII and IX) will be eligible to compete in the tournament.

Each team must name a preliminary squad of between 22 and 50 players.
