Miguel Antoinne graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology and created his brand miguel Antoinne in 2007. His inspiration comes from the dreaming imagination and results in clothing designed for individual thinking. The brand now specializes in luxury fashion for men (menswear) that includes dress shirts, blazers, coats and leather jackets. The first store was opened in SoHo (NY) in 2012[1].

History[edit]

Miguel Antoinne grew up with an interest for fashion. He described it as “the fantasy of putting outfit.”. Later, he moved to New York City to become a fashion designer. After graduating for Fashion Institute of Technology, he was hired as a buyer at Bloomingdale’s[2].

“I wanted to shatter the intimidation I had of dealing with buyers by becoming a buyer myself” he recalled. “Since a great part of my job relies heavily on instincts and intuition, I wanted to learn something more concrete like how fashion businesses are profitable.”With this knowledge, he revised the business plan he has made at FIT and decided to launch his own design business[2].

Fashion Store[edit]

The Miguel Antoinne store has opened in SoHo in October 2012[3]. It offers menswear and fashion accessories [4]. miguel Antoinne’s garments are tailored and cut slightly away from the body, in a way that makes them. Clothes can be worn as ensembles or be individually integrated into a wardrobe. Among his creations are elongated, military-inspired shirts, raw-edged knit sweaters, tapered pants, calf-length shorts, cropped jackets of coated linen and soft matte leather[2].
