Dario Passariello is trainer in Palermo, Italy, where he lives and works. Since 1999, he's been a trainer in 3D special effects, compositing and rendering using Autodesk 3ds Max, mental ray®, Combustion®, Cleaner® and Mudbox®. He is also a teacher for courses funded by the European Social Fund (ESF).

As an Autodesk Approved Instructor & Autodesk 3ds Max Master, and in addition to teaching techniques with mental ray, Dario also teaches high dynamic range imaging (HDRI), modeling techniques, organic Sub-D, character studio, reactor, particle flow, texturing / unwrap, animation controllers, video editing and compositing, 2D design, database and authoring. An active participant in beta programs, Dario maintains a current Non Disclosure Agreement (NDA) with Autodesk.

In 2007, he created the first edition of the "Digital 3D Meeting" held in the Province of Palermo. This was the first 3D event in Sicily garnering membership and attention from the region of Sicily, the Province of Palermo, the City of Palermo, Eureka Engineering, the CG magazine “Imago Editions”, and the Internet portal treddi.com.

Dario has been a guest on various 3D related media including "Pixmedia" in Rome, "Digital 3D meeting", the "Ordine degli Architetti di Palermo", various webcasts and Autodesk Open Doors. His experience also includes creating 3D computer graphics for medical, forensic, and military (Italian army and carabinieri) multimedia productions in Italy. He is also studying 3D visualization systems for the Internet and “real-time” for multimedia authoring.

He began working with 3D Studio (DOS) in 1992 and his passion for 3D graphics started with watching the special effects in Disney's "Tron" and Ridley Scott's "Blade Runner" as well as video clips from "Money for Nothing".

His experience also includes 3D CG for medical, forensic and military multimedia productions in Italy. He is also studying 3D visualization systems for the Internet (viewpoint) and realtime for multimedia authoring.
