including As I see it, the purpose of Wikipedia is not to predigest all the information to teach someone who does not know anything. It's to present the information in a coherent fashion with references, and also without an overwhelming amount of minute details. The purpose is to provide the reader with an overview of a topic and then the reader can follow up on the references if they want a deeper understanding.
