I'm a long-term Wiki-lurker, but the temptation to improve articles which are sometimes missing something relevant, or instead give a misleading impression by giving undue weight to certain areas, has meant that I have created my own page.

I am eager to abide within the letter and spirit of Wikipedia's rules, buut please be gentle if I sometimes get it wrong! Thank you.
