      Patrick Coyne was born with Rock & Roll in his blood. Born March 5th, 1965 in the Pittsburgh, PA suburb of Munhall... his earliest memory is of music playing on a brother's radio. Youngest of ten children, (and Seventh Son of the Seventh Son...) Pat was surrounded by music growing up. Between three brothers and a sister, it was like having the Newport Folk Festival in his living-room!! (And while those four were the primary players.... Everybody got in on the act!!)
     On the advice of childhood friend Max Weber, Pat began adding music to some of his scribblings, and come 1980, was a full-fledged songwriter!! The first song was entitled "Nothing Left to Say", which those close to Pat say is a Complete Oxy-Moron!
     Pat's first band, TempesT, was born on the bay of Cadiz in the Andalucian province of Rota, Spain. Joining forces with guitar Guru Mark Sayers, guitarist Scott Jones, bassist Brian Ernst, and drummer Agustin Garcia, Pat lit the 1993 New Year off with a BANG at the now defunct Hard Rock Cafe in Rota.(Later closed, as it was found to be an unlicensed establishment.)
     A return to the USA in 1995 found Pat learning the solo-gig ropes from Mr. Lewis McGehee in the Chesapeake arena of Virginia. Close touch was kept with Mark Sayers who too had moved to Virginia, and two unreleased CDs, "Flip Side of the Coyne", and "On the House" were produced between 1995-2001. Mark Executive Produced, played Lead Guitar, and did harmony vocals on both projects. Heading north to the Baltimore area in 1999, Pat split his time between gigging in Fell's Point and recording in Virginia. In 2002, Pat began recording with Session Swami Dave Roy, and the CD "So Jennerous" (artwork by Jennifer Voros) ensued.
     In early 2007, Pat was approached and acceptedan invitation by QuickStar Productions about adding his song "You Can Believe" to their forth-coming"Chill Out: East Coast/ Vol. V" compilation CD. Songs from this CD are available for digital download from Napster.com, iTunes.com, and Wal*Mart.com sites.
     For the better part of 2007, Patrick was at the helm of the Classic Rock & Blues ensemble "Seventh Son", where he & drummer Tommy Micheel (muh-keel) took the Eastern Maryland seaboard by Storm!! Rather than leaving crowds a-beat back by the-a-waves... they kep 'em a-Full Speed ahead........ with Plenty of Esteem!!
     Now in "semi-retirement", when Pat is not "Shoosh"ing down Himalayan slopes or partaking in his Favorite form of "Tag!".... (Extreme Contact-Hang Gliding), he can be found handing out "Smiley Faces" at a local Super Store. (Hoping that "Gen-X Reunion Tour" bus gets underway SOON!!!)
