Latitude Learning LLC, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Latitude Consulting Group[1].
Latitude Learning developed, hosts and sells access to a learning management system (LMS), which delivers and manages Web-based e-learning courses and tracks student progress.

Corporate History

[edit]

In 1995, Novations Learning Technologies was formed to provide e-learning and learning management solutions to Fortune 1000 companies. Its Learning Management System, called Ready Solutions LMS, was sold only as commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) software to Fortune 1000 companies. In 2005 Latitude Learning was formed when the Latitude Consulting Group, Inc., led by CEO Jeff Walter, acquired Novations Learning Technologies.

In 2008, after enhancing the LMS, Latitude rechristened Ready Solutions LMS as LatitudeLearning.com [2]. Latitude launched LatitudeLearning.com, as an on-demand version of the LatitudeLearning.com open-source LMS, to a select group of clients.

In 2009, in order to better serve the entire training community, Latitude began offering Latitude Learning LMS exclusively on an open-source, on-demand basis.

Today over one million users, in thousands of organizations around the world, benefit from the LatitudeLearning.com open-source LMS.
