Paul Marbach writes music for chorus, theatre, chamber ensemble, and film. Currently living in Austin, Texas, Paul recently won the Roy Crane Award for his score for And Then Came Tango, a children's ballet selected for performance as The University of Texas at Austin Department of Theatre and Dance's Fall 2012 Touring Production. Paul has studied with Dan Welcher, Yevgeniy Sharlat, Bruce Pennycook, and Hermes Camacho, and earned a Bachelors of Arts in Music from the University of Texas at Austin in May 2011. Paul's collaborators include the Blanton Museum of Art; Holly Williams, director of the American College Dance Festival Association and Head of the MFA in Dance program at UT Austin; and a host of Austin-area playwrights, choreographers, directors, dancers, singers, and chamber ensembles.
