Paul Andrew Austin (born November 25, 1967 in Lawton,Oklahoma), is a software support manager at IBM. He currently lives in Beacon, New York.

Paul was born in Lawton, Oklahoma, at Reynolds Army Hospital in Fort Sill. His family moved to Taiwan, Fort Sheridan IL, and Syracuse NY. Paul graduated in 1985 from Liverpool High School and briefly attended Onondaga Community College before changing his major and college to the State University of New York at Oswego where he studied writing.

Graduating in 1989, Paul applied for work at IBM and became a technical writer for the TPF operating system. He subsequently worked in Customer Service, Software Development, and Software Test for TPF before moving to the WebSphere product line where he became a manager. He now works in z/OS Software Support.

Paul is married with a stepdaughter and a son.
