Regional modules are the triangular modular settlement pattern that exists and grows in a defined region.

[edit]About 3000 ‘regional modules’ (cultivated or barren land between the existing highways of india, except the forests & other such geographical features), of about two hundred villages (1, 50,000 acres/600 sq. Km.), Enclosed between the highways and railways of the country, exist in the country.

[edit]The state of chhattisgarh (area: 1,92,000 sq.Km) includes about 110 ‘regional modules’, mostly around the major district headquarters of the state, along with some large patches of the forest land in the state The state of madhya pradesh (area: 308,252 km2 sq.Km) includes about 324 ‘Regional modules’, mostly around the major district headquarters of the state, along with some large patches of the forest land in the state. All have similar connectivity and opportunities and all need to be developed, simultaneously; first phase with essential services, including a comprehensive public transport system, can be initiated immediately, through local resources and public schemes.
