Dr Paul Francis Kilty is an engineering scientist. He studied Aeronautics at Imperial College, London, taking both his batchelor and doctorate degrees there. After a few years at the British Aircraft Corporation, Warton, working on the designs of both Concorde and Jaguar, he was invited back to his alma mater by Professor John Argyris to be a lecturer in the Department of Aeronautics at Imperial College.

After almost twenty years as a lecturer in Aeronautics at Imperial College he left for industry as a simulation specialist, before spending the last fifteen years of his career as an IT consultant, mainly working for IBM in its research laboratories at Hursley, Hampshire.

Now retired, his interests are; 1. Sailing. 2. Classical music. 3. Bridge, see Kindle book: Thinking Bridge in Standard English using the pen name Paul Francis. 4. The history of Aviation. He is a volunteer guide at Solent Sky Museum.
