Phil Krawczuk Musician (George Phillip Krawczuk Born October 18th 1961) is an Canadian Drummer/Percussionist/Multi Instrumentalist, Composer, Producer, studio engineer.

About

Phil Krawczuk Owner of Emerald Ridge Studio located in Calgary, Alberta Canada where he has produced a number of artists over the years. The Studio originated in Vancouver, Canada where he produced and released 7 Cd's from 2006 to 2008 including his first Solo album "Living On The Mountain". Phil also performed on all of the productions, contributing on drums, percussion, keyboards, bass guitar and some odd vocals. Grew up in Thunder Bay but Phil relocated several times in his career from London to Calgary, Toronto, Edmonton, Vancouver then back to Calgary where he worked most of the 80s and studied. Toured Canada extensively with many artists. In the 80s and 90s was busy touring but also as a session player doing jingles and record sessions when not on the road. Phil would consider himself a Rock/Fusion drummer but has recorded and performed in my styles from Rock, Jazz, Fusion, Blues, Country, R&B, Funk and Latin. Worked with some notable Producers: Stacy Hayden, Dan Brodbeck, Mark Holden, Dan Lowe, David Horrocks, Peter Brennan, Richard Harrow, Robert Nation and Joe Vaughan.

The Earth Kings

The Earth Kings Productions Inc. was founded by Phil Krawczuk and partners Kevin Sands (CAS) Vocalist, Brent Saklofske (Guitarist) and Glen Rowley (Keyboardist) in conjunction with the 2008 productions which was the record label used. Also The Earth Kings Published all 2008 releases. The Earth Kings finally released their debut Album "Ascending" as a band in 2018.

Touring and TV

Toured with Adventures In Paradise (Quality Records), Eddie Eastman (Juno Award winner Male vocalist of the year), Bill Durst (Award winning Canadian blues artist), Terry Sumsion (Juno Award nomination for Country Male Vocalist of the Year), Doug Varty Band (Winner of Canadian National Labatt's Band Warz 1990), Pat Savage Band, Ralph Boyd Johnson, Ether and many years with Tres Hombres to mention just a few. Also TV show appearances with Boulevard, Adventures In Paradise, The Jump, Pat Savage Band, Donna Taylor and Steeler, Axford and Micheal Ray. Notable performances with the London Ontario Symphony Orchestra (Jeans and Classics series).

Studies

Studied at Mount Royal College Popular Jazz and Classical Music Program. Several private instructors including time with Paul Delong. Also studied a short time in Cuba. Phil continues to teaches Drums and music theory.
