Introduction
[edit]Ongha is the village located near Ohalushu in Ohangwena region. Actually this village had lots of leaders (head-men)before and non of them managed to take the village at better high developed standards. Despite that, the only leader that managed to do that is the current (head-woman) one and that is Madam Marijam N.Kautwima.
Her leadership quality
[edit]Moreover, this woman is said to be a hardworking,a highly intelligent and a friendly leader who is dedicated to any cause she embraces. on there other hand, her friends and the colleagues of the whole Oukwnyama traditional authority usually describe her as approachable and trustworthy. These characteristics made Marijam to become a member of a constituent helping committee whereby she acts as a chairperson of the committee. She joined that committee with an intention of coming across to the possible ways of getting her village developed and on-line with technology stuff. She always make sure that she help and listen to the suggestions of all the Ongha residents equally and successfully, and that is why she tended to be the most admired leader and the mother of the village.
So far there is only one school in the village which is Nanghonda combined school, it's located on the East side of the main road(from Ondangwa-oshikango[1] .It has grades from 1-10, approximately 1079 learners, 25 classes and the stuff room. This school is now being provided with electricity and also some photocopy machines to help making copies in the school as it used to straggle with making copies especially during examination times [2] .Madam marijam tried all her best to contact the school board members so that the school can be a secondary school and this idea is said to be in good progress.
Madam Marijam managed to replace the old clinic and then build the new one which is now a central clinic in the whole of the Endola constituency.
