From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Acrophonic are London-based writing/production duo Paul Nattrass and Frido Ruth. Formed in the 1990s, Acrophonic have worked across various musical genres, including pop, dance, theatre, radio and advertising, and have clocked up over 500,000 album sales as producers. Originally, Paul was a solo artist and was teamed with Frido by his management team to write songs for a solo project. Creatively, Acrophonic clicked immediately and discovered that they complemented each other's capabilities; initially Paul's top lines and lyrics with Frido's multi-instrumentalist, arranging and production skills. Since the early days, Acrophonic have developed a more collaborative approach to the whole creative process from writing through to final production.

Collaboration[edit]

Although capable of working as a self-contained writing and production team, Acrophonic also collaborate with other writers, producers and artists, and have worked on projects with Swedish production teams Basecamp and Silverroom, Murlyn producer/writer Jock-E and Korpi & Blackcell, as well as US-based writer, Winston Sela. They have also recorded with UK Eurovision artist Imaani, dance vocalist Tiff Lacey, Actress Rita Simons, Australian singer Kelly Webb and Pop Idol finalist, Korben.
