George Goble became an internet celebrity by lighting a barbecue grill using 3 gallons of liquid oxygen. According to his calculations, the grill reached over 10,000°F before the intense heat consumed the steel grill, leaving only a small pile of ash. Those hosting his web site eventually forced him to remove the material.
