Cabbage Ball, originally called indoor ball, started in New Orleans, Louisiana decades ago and has emerged as a sport played on playgrounds, high schools, neighborhood parks, and college tournaments in the New Orleans area. Male and Female leagues, kids leagues, and high school leagues are popular in and around the Greater New Orleans area. It does not take much to play cabbage ball. All that's needed is bases, a cabbage ball, and a bat. No gloves needed, which also makes cabbage ball a safe sport to play for all ages.

A Cabbage Ball needs to be broken in, meaning the more you play, the softer it gets! Do not get a Cabbage Ball wet. Do not even play on a wet surface. If you want to make use of a Cabbage Ball for a long time, avoid getting the ball wet! Stay off of the cement. It can be played on gymnasiums, sand, grass, tennis courts, and even most black tops. Avoid hard surfaces like the street. Playing Cabbage Ball on cement will make the life of a ball short! Created 2 hours ago by WebTriplet.
