Biography[edit]
Kenny Random started painting graffiti in the 1980s, on the walls of Padua, and then started to propose some designs for clothing lines in the 1990s in United Kingdom and United States, up to collaborating in the realization of advertising campaigns for the manufacturer of skates Roces
In 2011, one of his paintings was purchased by Russian Roman Abramovič[1]
To document his artistic production (which over time has expanded to works on canvas, clothing and everyday objects), in 2011 he publishes the book Lies [2].
Kenny Random and the city of Padua[edit]
Despite the versatility of its production, the reason why it is better known are the numerous murals that adorn the city of Padua, which are periodically increased with new works.
Its production has evolved over the years, starting from anthropomorphic figures, passing through stencil shapes up to incorporating various cartoon characters to give greater expressiveness to the conveyed message [3].
His murals are present today both in the industrial area and in the historic center of Padua, and can be considered so part of the city that in some cases it has been chosen to preserve them during the renovation of the buildings involved [4].
In 2007 an exhibition was dedicated to him in the Spazio Tindaci gallery in Padua [5].
In 2012 some of his works were exhibited at the Altinate / San Gaetano cultural center Cite error: There are <ref> tags on this page without content in them (see the help page)..
In December 2012 he carried out the The Gift initiative, disseminating 32 works throughout the city and providing clues for the discovery through his Facebook profile and website, allowing anyone who found them to become their rightful owner [6].
In December 2013 he replied with `` The Gift 2 , leaving on several days and in various places in the city 23 numbered medallions corresponding to as many works to be distributed as gifts [7].
One of his murals has become the cover of the cd "Following the Clouds" of the Paduan group Mideando String Quintet[8].
