Like most of us, I am a self appointed Wikipedia editor (unrelated to any government or PR organization). I studied journalism and political science, (international relations), and befor that, I studied natuaral science and merchant ship's management and navigation. I worked in most Sahelian countries and in North and East Africa. I still have active contacts in some of those countries.

I have some expertise or work experience in the next subjects:

Human rights research in conflict area's, mostly in Africa, Refugee policy research (in Netherlands and Europe), Country of Origin Information research Agricultural economics; Political economy of African agriculture and rural development; History of Islam and Christianity in Africa and South-West Europe; Contemporary and historical slavery in Africa; Rural conflict in Sudan, Somalia, Congo, Uganda and the Western Sahel;

I also have some expertise in history of maritime navigation and carbon reducing technology.
